The Summoning Process

Always remember, if you do not want to do a thing, you do not have to. There are no have-tos. We will ask a question. If it is true for you, respond in the affirmative. If it is not something you can say, make no response.

SUMMONING

Standing in the rim of the wheel of life, the circle within the circle, within the circle, demonstrating the turning of the wheel. From this place from where you stand, begin the summoning of all your parts. We will ask a question. If it is true for you, respond in the affirmative. If it is not something you can say, make no response.

We begin by summoning all of those energies known to you or unknown to you, here in this time, or in some other time. We summon all these energies of you to this place at this time.

Do you so summon?

Summoning to this place all living things. All the animals that you know. All the animals that are unknown to you we call to be present with you in this place.

Do you summon these?

Call to this place all the plants, all the trees. Known to you or unknown to you. Call to you in this place at this time.

Do you so summon?

Call to you in this place at this time all the mountains, the rocks, the ground, the earth. All that is known to you and not known to you. Summon at this time.

Do you so summon?

Call to this place and this time, all the stars, the moon, all things in the skies and the heavens known to you or unknown to you. Call to be here with you at this time.

Do you so summon?

Call to you all parts of you throughout time. Known to you or unknown to you. Call to be here with you at this time.

Do you so summon?

Call all the forms that you have ever expressed in. Whether known to you or unknown to you. Call to be here with you at this time.

Do you so summon?

Call to be present at this time, all that has been spoken and all not spoken. Known to you or not known to you. Call to be here at this time.

Do you so summon?

Then in this wheel of life at this point of focus, you are calling to be here, all of you. Is this your agreement?
SUMMONING PROCESS
Basic words are: “I do summon and honor the Spirit of…………………………(fill in)

From the Past, the Future, and the Present;
Whether in for or not in form;
Whether known to me or not known to me.

Use “I do Honor and Summon the Spirit of….” When appropriate e.g. if a general prayer or request is being established for offering.
Use “I do Summon and Honor the Spirit of…” When appropriate e.g. when a specific ceremony is being prepared. NOTE: I’ve only heard them use this one.

A good “brief” summoning would be:

I do summon and honor the Spirit of all the Past, the Future and the Present,
Whether in for or not in form
Whether known to me or not known to me.

I do summon and honor the Spirit of all the In-forms and the Not In-forms,
From the Past, the Future, and the Present,
Whether known to me or not known to me.

I do summon and honor the Spirit of all that is Known to Me and Not Known to Me,
From the Past, the Future, and the Present
Whether in form or not in form.

These three form a basic structure for all ceremonies for whatever is desired, to establish intention, to create or heal.
1. Summoning the past, future, present is about time
2. Summoning the in forms and not-in-forms is about (About space or dimensionality)
3. Summoning the known to me and not known to me is about (About relating-ship, personal relating-ship)

Comparing this to calling upon the directions, elements, God: These three spheres are different than the directions, elements and God in that the directions, elements, God create for the flow of energy a grounding in the metaphor, the myth or magic (this is the way the mind deals wit the reality system of the construct). Anything you can do to expand upon that releases reality from cause and effect or the ‘cause and effect engine’ powering many ceremonies.

Homework: Find even other ways of using your words, your voice, your sounds, to future free the energy and yet allow the vortex or cycles to create sacred space. How do we do what we’ve been doing outside cause and effect? What are some things we can do to bring that about, facilitate?

The Cave Ceremony

The connecting (at the cave at the spiral)
Each person holds their hands over the spiral on the rock, not touching it, until you feel or sense or know you have connected. Ask in your heart for permission to enter with all that you have summoned, and all that you are, have been and will be.

The entering
When you feel that permission has been granted. Then enter the cave.

Inside the cave:
1. Find your energy spot and go there. Close your eyes and turn over to spirit of the cave all that you have summoned.
2. If you want to move around in the cave and explore with reverence its being, that is fine (after all have turned over the summonings)

The celebration
Raise the energy level inside the cave. Make the cave literally come alive. Do tunings, talk about gifts you brought, sing, celebrate. This is time for each one to speak.

Gifting of the Cave
After each one has spoken and all the others have listened, then comes the gifting of the cave.
1. Find your energy spot and sit down
2. Let the energy calm you
3. Begin by breathing to begin opening yourself
4. Focus on what you want or intend
5. Open to receive
6. Sound
7. Allow yourself to be filled by the cave’s gift
8. When you feel/sense/know you are complete, then comes time to begin the reemergence into the new world.

The First Breath (re-emergence into the new world)
1. Upon reaching the mouth of the cave begin to breathe as you climb out the first breath of the newborn world.
2. RELISH IT!!
3. When you are completely out of the cave, stand and breathe and laugh and fill yourself with love.
4. It is from this state or ‘tone’ of being the new world/age will be formed.
5. Play, meditate, talk, sing, be silent…whatever your spirit asks of you.
6. When you come fully back to this world at this time you’ll be ready to leave the sacred site
